APPR Disclosure
Upon request, parents and legal guardians of students are entitled to receive the final quality rating and composite effectiveness score for each of their child’s teachers and for the principal of the school building to which the child is assigned for the current school year. The District’s Annual Professional Performance Review (APPR) Plan is available here which includes a written explanation of the composite effectiveness scoring ranges for final quality ratings, and explains such scores in the context of teacher evaluation and student performance. The District is required by law to make reasonable efforts to verify that any such request is a bona fide request by a parent or guardian entitled to review and receive such data.
