A student in a pre-engineering CTE program gains an understanding of the engineering field’s importance by exploring topics such as principles of engineering, engineering design, problem-solving, computer integrated manufacturing processes, and applied mathematics and science. They also develop career skills and leadership through project-based learning, engineering competitions, internships, and Work-Based Learning (WBL)

Career and Technical Education (CTE) is a program that helps students prepare for college and careers by providing academic and technical skills.
