Letchworth CSD Learning Continuity & Preparedness Plan

This site is meant to provide our LCS learning community with a single space to obtain clarity regarding the tools, resources and best practices that will aid our community in maintaining continuity throughout our extended school closure. These resources and suggested activities will provide opportunities for students to review key concepts and skills while avoiding regression. We are unable to provide a guaranteed and viable curriculum for ALL LCS students through online learning opportunities. The suggested technology-based resources and activities on this site might support some students, but please consider how parallel paper-based resources could be shared with students. Teachers are able to adapt to the needs of their individual students as they see fit. We will also be posting our most recent communications and information regarding the COVID-19 virus.

The goals of our district at this time:

• Monitor and maintain student and family connections with school communities.
• Provide all students with continuity of learning that is accessible and clearly communicated.
• Ensure the highest level of support for students, including social/emotional, food distribution and connecting our families with resources.
• Ensure that seniors working toward fulfilling graduation requirements have the support that is needed in order to meet and exceed their program essentials.
