POSITION: BUILDING MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a Wyoming County Resident (A competitive Civil Service position; test required for eligibility)

START DATE: July 3, 2023

WORK SCHEDULE: 12 Months/ 8hr day/ 2nd Shift (Benefits per Contact)

• A thorough working knowledge of practices, processes, materials and tools of the principal trade in which experience has been gained;
• Fair working knowledge of one or more additional trades;
• Good knowledge of modern buildings and ground maintenance and repair practices;
• Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of heating systems;
• Knowledge of computerized mechanical system controls;
• Ability to plan and supervise the work of others; ability to understand oral and written directions; mechanical aptitude; thoroughness, dependability, and good physical condition;
• a valid NYS driver's license.
